FANUC Training & Documentation

Patrion’s Field Service Engineers deliver comprehensive FANUC Training & Documentation services designed to maximize uptime, ensure repeatable commissioning, and embed operator and technician competency into the customer's maintenance organization. The team works hands-on with FANUC hardware and software — including R-30iB Plus controllers, CRX collaborative robots, LR Mate variants, and ROBOGUIDE simulation workflows — and uses FANUC FOCAS/FOCAS2 libraries, Teach Pendant (TP) programming, and iRVision configuration as part of structured training and documentation packages. Patrion applies industrial best practices for PLC‑robot integration, supporting ControlLogix, Siemens S7, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet, and Modbus TCP I/O patterns into historian/MES layers aligned with ISA‑95. Training services are modular and competency-focused: operator, technician, and integrator tracks with measurable assessments; on-site boot camps; blended e‑learning with ROBOGUIDE simulation exercises and scored lab tasks; and remote instructor‑led sessions delivered over secure VPN, FOCAS2, or OPC UA connections. Hands-on labs cover payload and TCP calibration, tool flange setup, iRVision pattern teaching, payload inertia tuning, and ROBOGUIDE cell export/import to physical controllers. Each engagement includes training records, skill matrices, pass/fail competency checklists, and SOPs required for qualification audits. Documentation deliverables are produced to customer QMS and relevant standards: as‑built electrical and pneumatic schematics (DWG/PDF) with IEC 60204‑1 compliance notes; I/O mapping cross‑referenced to ControlLogix or Siemens S7 tag structures; sequence flowcharts; SOPs for preventive maintenance; torque and lubrication specifications; and step‑by‑step recovery procedures for common FANUC alarm codes. Safety validation and Safety Function Verification are documented per ISO 13849 and ISO 10218 / ANSI RIA R15.06. Cybersecurity recommendations reference IEC 62443 where remote access, VPN or OPC UA/FOCAS telemetry are present. For commissioning and retrofit projects Patrion supports FAT/SAT workflows using ROBOGUIDE for virtual commissioning, then executes controller loads and verification on-site. Deliverables include prioritized spare‑parts and tooling lists to reduce MTTR, calibration certificates, and documented change‑over procedures for production recipes. Field engineers arrive with encrypted programming laptops, licensed ROBOGUIDE and FOCAS toolsets, calibrated multimeters, oscilloscopes, torque wrenches, test parts, and drafting tools to produce auditable documentation. Patrion’s approach ensures FANUC systems are commissioned, documented, and transferred to the plant maintenance team with traceable competency records and maintainable, standards‑compliant documentation.
