PLC logic conversions are executed to IEC 61131-3 standards and validated against original ladder logic and state machines; integration into higher-level systems follows ISA-95 mapping for MES handoff. Communication protocol modernization includes EtherNet/IP and PROFINET upgrades, DeviceNet/PROFIBUS migrations, Modbus TCP bridges, and OPC-UA gateways for secure telemetry and IIoT connectivity. Safety and compliance are integral: retrofits that affect robot guarding or control logic are validated to ISO 10218-1/2 and ISO/TS 15066, while safety control architectures follow IEC 61508 and ISO 13849 risk-reduction requirements. Patrion designs and installs safety-rated controllers and relays (Pilz, SICK, Rockwell GuardLogix) and verifies safe states, monitored stops, and zone monitoring in situ. Phased cutover planning is standard: site survey, build-out in a staging area, ROBOGUIDE FAT, pilot-cell SAT, then scheduled production cutover with rollback contingencies. Deliverables include updated electrical schematics (EPLAN-compatible), I/O mapping tables, ROBOGUIDE simulation packages, tuned servo parameters, spares lists, and operator/maintenance training.
