Patrion’s field-service engineers deliver hands-on commissioning, maintenance, and systems-integration services for FANUC robotics and CNC platforms worldwide. Working with FANUC hardware including the R-30iB Plus controller family, CRX collaborative robots, ROBOGUIDE offline-simulation suite, iRVision systems, and the FANUC FIELD system, Patrion integrates robot and CNC assets into modern plant automation architectures. They integrate FANUC CNCs with PLCs (Rockwell ControlLogix, Siemens S7-1500) using EtherNet/IP, PROFINET or OPC UA, and bridge legacy DeviceNet and serial architectures where required. For IIoT and analytics projects Patrion configures the FIELD System, deploying MQTT/REST or OPC UA endpoints to feed historians such as OSIsoft PI, Inductive Automation Ignition, or cloud analytics platforms. Patrion also writes custom KAREL routines and ladder logic to automate complex I/O sequences and to expose robot diagnostics to SCADA/HMI layers. Patrion’s scope covers preventative and predictive maintenance strategies: vibration and encoder analysis, backlash correction, motor/drive thermals, and servo loop tuning, with spare-part management for FANUC-recommended components. For software, Patrion develops robust HMI screens (AVEVA/Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition), SCADA alarms mapped to ISA-18.2, and ERP integration consistent with ISA-95. On retrofit and brownfield projects engineers perform risk-based design changes, validate safety function performance levels (per IEC 61508/ISO 13849), and perform FAT/SAT cycles using ROBOGUIDE simulations and on-site acceptance testing. Patrion supports 24/7 remote troubleshooting via secure VPN, leveraging FOCAS and FIELD System telemetry to reduce mean time to repair.
